Hsieh Meng Han is an award-winning writer and director from Taiwan. Her previous short films, Bleeding Lies and HOME, and her commercial,
Kindness Takes You Forward, have been accepted into multiple film festivals worldwide and have received both nominations and awards.
She has been writing and directing stage plays, short films, and commercials for 18 years. In 2017, she moved to the UK to pursue a master’s degree in Film Directing at Arts University Bournemouth and became a visiting tutor after graduation.

She has extensive experience in delivering projects from inception to completion while maximising production on a limited budget. She is skilled at pitching and executing creative ideas, communicating with stakeholders, and managing deadlines across a wide range of projects, from one-off advertisements and multi-language global video and animation campaigns to short films.
​
Meng Han now works as a Creative Video Director at THG Studios, directing the wider production team on commercials for multinational brands, including Disney, DFS and more. Her latest BFI funded short film, The Test, is now on the festival circuit and she is also developing her first feature film.
